This year's International Coastal Cleanup 17th September 2011.

Dear Friends and Members

 

The North Durban Honorary Officers look forward to your participation in this year's International Coastal Cleanup taking place on the 17th September 2011.

Please le the Umgeni Estuary Conservancy know urgently if you would like to join us for the morning between 9.00 and 11.00am.  We meet at Browns Drift Road and move west and east along the north bank of the uMngeni River picking up solid pollution as we go along.  One member of the group categorises the waste and the record of items collected is marked counted and sent to the Honorary Officers who in turn send these stats to the USA where the data is collated internationally.
