Hyacinth boom to prevent decomposing Water Hyacinth from entering the Mangroves 

Bart Fokkens and Bill Fereday, as well as two host city volunteers did some serious removal of solid pollution on the islands of the uMngeni River Estuary.  The DUCT team of workers spent several days cleaning the islands of all the solid pollution washed down after the recent rains.
